In our Year 4 Biological Sciences Module, ‘Consumers, Producers and Decomposers’, students:
- explore the roles and feeding relationships between producers, consumers and decomposers.
- construct food chains, food webs and life cycles.
- investigate a feral animal and its impact on native species.
Alignment to Australian Curriculum
Our units are fully aligned to the Australian Curriculum including the science understanding, science inquiry skills and the cross-curriculum priorities.
We also align to the Design and Technologies section of the Technologies learning area.
Components of the general capabilities are included where applicable.
